When there is a great synergy between Architect, client and builder, truly inspired environments can be realized.  This project began with a simple master bathroom remodel, and we ended up creating a vast Japanese Retreat in the hills above Santa Barbara.  With direction and collaboration from AB Design Studio, we were able to create an entire living estate for this dynamic and inspired family.  Borrowing from Northern California roots of Zen and modern design, we were able to blend construction and artistic endeavors to create a one of a kind family compound.
